Christmas Trees, designed and hand crafted by Rotarian Tony Mercieca, were sold at our Monthly markets held in November and December 2019. All profits from the sales of these Christmas Trees together with all donations received from our Wishing Wells at the December market have been allocated to support the redevelopment of village facilities in Rinya, Western Kenya.
The project includes:
- Primary school redevelopment.
- Sponsorship to attend school of at least 10 children. Emphasis is on girls attending.
- Children that have lost parents from HIV aids. The more we collect the more children can be sponsored.
- Provision of a Medical Clinic and Community Nurse.
