Sapphire Entertainment Pod (SEP) 

 

The SEP now renamed "Beryl" is a custom modified container that was converted and shipped to Eden by Container Traders.  Bryan Hammond from ARV Caravans is building a trailer which will enable easier transportation of the Pod.  The purpose of this project is to move Beryl around the Shire to all the villages which were impacted by the 2019/20 fires to provide some fun, music, entertainment and relief from stress and anxiety.

 

Our Club, Pambula Rotary and Lions Club all contributed $3,000 towards the cost.  Minderoo Foundation and Bendigo Bank jointly provided $50,000 towards this project with Social Justice Advocates being another huge contributor.

 

 Any community group that wish to run an event can use Beryl, and any locals who wish to have a wedding or party can book Beryl for a charge which will cover the audio, insurance, transport etc.  Enquiries regarding bookings should be directed to the team at Pambula Rotary.
